HANAUMA BAY IS NOW OPEN
The state of Hawaii has initiated a new pilot program for Hanauma Bay. This new initiative has caused the bay to be open one less day per week and now closes earlier each day. Further, a reservation system must now be used so that the State can cap the number of visitors each day. Because of this, Snorkel Hanauma Bay can help you to make the most of your visit to Oahu by helping you to get into the bay without hassle. Guest Limits
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and based on available theater show times, the state of Hawaii is currently limiting the number of guests allowed into the bay per day. Reserve your spot 48 hours in advance or arrive early to ensure entry.

Hanauma Bay is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. The NEW hours are from 6:45 am – 4:00 pm (5 days a week). There is currently no entry after 2:00 pm. Lifeguards start to clear the beach at 3:00 pm. The gates close at 4:00 pm.
Entry
Entry fee is $25 for adults and kids 13 and up. Kama’aina (Hawaii Residents) and Kids 12 and under are FREE. Reservations are still recommended at this time due to the walk-in tickets being scooped up quickly each day.
Accommodations
Bathrooms, showers, theater, gift shop & the beach are all open at this time. The tramway to the beach is also operational. NO Rental Equipment is currently available at the bay. The Snack Bar & locker rentals remain CLOSED.

Keep in mind that you are a visitor in their home and a respect for their space should always be considered. Therefore, it’s best to admire their beauty from a safe distance.

Hanauma Bay Parking Option
Are you planning on driving your own car out to snorkel at Hanauma Bay? Well, what you might not know is that there are limited Hanauma Bay parking stalls, which could limit your ability to access the park and may put a real damper on your day. The Hanauma Bay parking rate is $3 and the parking lot can easily fill up by 8:30 am. Because of this, many people have been turned away and are either left to park far away (and walk) or to try their luck another day. We have solved this issue by now offering a drive out option. With this new offering, we allow you to conveniently drive your car to our storefront in Koko Marina Shopping Center to park where we can provide you and your group with a convenient shuttle ride to and from the bay.
